Hello and welcome to another Simply Church virtual service!
We are glad you have chosen to worship with us this morning. I have been reminded that since our last Shared Lunch we have actually met once (in my intro I say that we have not seen each other since Shared Lunch).
John 14:1-4 NLT
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”
The verse I’ve had on my heart this week comes from John 14:
In my Fathers House are many rooms, some versions say mansions.
At this time of confinement I am really grateful for all of you and my family-in-faith around the world. While we may be distant we are all waiting to share Our Fathers House, where we can all be together with no sickness or viruses to separate us. We may be socially distanced from each other for the time being, but nothing can ever distance us from the love of God or even the love of a good community of fellow believers.

Our Prayer for Today
Father, we are blessed to have what we have.
We are proud to lift up your name in worship.
We are honoured by your presence as we praise and worship you, together but apart. This time may be frustrating, sometimes lonely, but may we not take it for granted.
Remind us to use this time to push into you, to seek your will for our lives beyond confinement.
Lord, thank you for technology and Simply Church.
May we seek to grow more in love with you.
