Dear God, as we begin our day,
we ask for your guidance and strength
to help us serve others.
Teach us to be your hands and feet.
Send us where we are needed,
and help us to look upon others
with eyes unclouded by hate.
Please remind us that every person we encounter
is created in your image
and deserves to be treated with love and respect.
Help us to see the needs of those around us
and be willing to step in and help in any way we can.
